Strands and cables manufactured in a variety of sizes and constructions, ranging from ultra fine or miniature strands with diameters below 0.0762 mm to cables up to 3.175 mm in diameter. We pride ourselves on removing these contaminants (oil, dirt, dust, etc.) through a variety of cleaning steps, which include:
- hot alkaline cleaning
- ultrasonic cleaning
- alcohol rinse
Many of these cleaning steps are necessary prior to material passivation or any material thermal treatments the material may be subject to downstream. Materials that have been cut to length or fabricated in to assemblies may be passivated.
